2025 Season’s Greetings from Cardihab

2025 Season’s Greetings from Cardihab

2025. What a year!

As 2025 draws to a close, I am filled with gratitude and pride as I reflect on the extraordinary progress we have made together.

This year has been one of remarkable growth, impact and momentum. We saw record levels of patient engagement, with thousands more Australians and New Zealanders accessing our cardiac rehabilitation and heart disease prevention programs across both metropolitan and regional areas. The letters of thanks we have received from patients particularly those in regional communities remind us of the life‑changing difference that accessible, digital care can make. Knowing that someone can complete their rehabilitation from the comfort of their own home, without the barriers of distance or limited local services, continues to inspire our mission.

Our partnerships have also gone from strength to strength. With more than 80% of private health insurers now offering Cardihab programs, access to vital cardiac rehab and heart disease prevention programs have never been broader. This expansion has allowed us to support not only those recovering from cardiac events, but also people managing conditions such as Atrial Fibrillation and Heart Failure, as well as those identified through heart health checks, and discovered they are at a higher risk of cardiovascular disease, who need proactive prevention.

Cardihab‘s Primary Prevention Program empowers people at risk of heart disease to take proactive steps such as improvements in diet, exercise, medication reminders and daily habits toward better heart health through clinically supervised, home-based care. This first‑of‑its‑kind program is already helping people take meaningful steps to manage their risk and protect their future heart health.

Beyond patient care, 2025 has been a year where Cardihab’s voice has resonated strongly across the digital health sector. We’ve proudly contributed to national conversations, presented at industry conferences, received national coverage in mainstream media for the outstanding results of Medibank’s Cardihab pilot and welcomed new private health insurance partnerships across Australia, working alongside industry associations to strengthen the reach and quality of virtual care.

Three new real world evidence publications in leading European journals detailing world class clinical and health economic outcomes have raised the bar for digital therapeutics in our sector and strengthened the call to action for reimbursement. These opportunities have reinforced our role not just as a provider of digital therapeutics, but as a leader in shaping the future of digital health in Australia. Joining the Board of the Medical Technology Association of Australia (MTAA) and Chairing the MTAA’s Digital Health Advisory Group provides an important opportunity to strengthen the maturation, impact and reach of the digital health sector through member collaboration and joint advocacy.

None of this would be possible without the dedication of our incredible Cardihab team, the guidance of our Board, the support of our shareholders, our wonderful customers and the vibrant ecosystem of digital health advocates and partners who share our mission. Together, we are advancing digital healthcare impact and reach and improving heart health across Australia.

While the pace of change in healthcare and technology adoption ebbs and flows, one thing remains constant: our commitment to ensuring people receive the care they need, in ways that truly work for them. Looking ahead, 2026 promises to be another exciting year, with new partnerships, expanded prevention initiatives, and continued innovation in digital health.

From all of us at Cardihab, thank you for your trust, collaboration, and energy throughout 2025 and in advance for your continued support for the future. Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful holiday season and a heart‑healthy new year.

Warm regards,

Helen
